Corporate Event AV Company

The AV Company Your Internal Events Team Wants to Work With Again

You brief a lot of suppliers. Most of them deliver something close to what you asked for and need chasing for the rest. Lux Technical is the team you brief once, hand the run of show to, and stop worrying about. Conference, product launch, town hall, brand activation. We've delivered them all.

Why corporate events fail technically

The brief was clear. Something still went wrong on the day.

Internal events teams know what they want. The problem is rarely the brief. It's finding an AV company that reads the brief properly, asks the right questions, flags the risks before event day, and then executes without the events manager having to monitor every call. That combination is rarer than it should be.

We work with internal events teams at FTSE-listed businesses, global consultancies and fast-growth brands. Most of them came to us after an event that nearly went wrong, or did go wrong, and they needed to know it wouldn't happen again.

  • A named technical director assigned from brief to load-out, not a different crew lead every time you call
  • Pre-event technical documentation issued ten days before — not the morning of load-in
  • Own kit, not hired-in gear from the nearest dry hire house
  • Run of show built around your programme, not a generic production schedule
  • Live streaming handled by the same team, not handed off to a sub-contractor
  • One production contact for everything. No passing between departments.

What we do

Full-service corporate event production and technical AV.

Corporate events require a team that understands the political weight of what they're producing. A CEO keynote is not the same as a product demo, and both are different from a global town hall that needs to land on a hybrid audience. We read the room before we touch a cable.

🎥

Conference AV Production

Full audio-visual production for conferences from fifty to five thousand delegates. PA system designed for the room, projection and LED screen setup, presentation management, live Q&A microphones, wireless confidence monitors for speakers, and a production manager watching the programme, not just the signal chain.

Product Launch Event Production

Product launches require production that serves the reveal, not just the content. Staging built around the product's visual language. Lighting designed for photography and video as well as the live moment. Reveal mechanics planned at brief stage. Content playback managed by an operator who's rehearsed the show. The product gets the entrance it deserves.

Town Halls and All-Hands Events

Town hall events carry the credibility of the leadership team. Technical issues during a CEO address are rarely forgotten. We set up for all-hands and town hall formats with confidence: PA coverage across the full room, camera feeds for large screens, simple presentation controls for speakers who'd rather not think about technology on the day, and hybrid broadcast capability for remote audiences.

Corporate Event Staging

Custom staging designed around the event programme, not installed as a default platform from inventory. Stage height, shape and set dressing planned for sightlines, speaker movement and the visual frame it creates on camera. From clean presentation platforms to full multiplex stage builds with branded set pieces.

Live Streaming and Hybrid Events

Live streaming integrated into the production from brief stage, not added as an afterthought. Multi-camera setup, stream encoding, CDN delivery, audience management for hybrid formats, and on-site monitoring for the duration. Remote audience experience designed at the same time as the live room, not after the venue spec is locked in.

Brand Events and Activations

When the brief is brand communication rather than content presentation, AV becomes a creative tool. LED video walls used as environmental canvases. Lighting as mood architecture. Sound design that shapes the room before a single presenter takes the stage. We've built brand event environments for FMCG launches, fashion brand activations and consultancy thought leadership events where the production was the message.

Events delivered

What we've produced for internal events teams and their agencies.

We work with events teams directly and alongside agencies managing the full production. Either way, the technical standard is the same.

Annual Conference

Global management consultancy, O2 Arena, 4,500 delegates

Full staging build with a 16m wide LED video wall, three projection surfaces for breakout zones, PA across the main floor and tiered seating, wireless microphone management for 22 speakers across two days, and live stream to regional offices across EMEA. Pre-event technical documentation issued 12 days before load-in. Event ran to time on both days.

Events director: "The most technically complex event we've run. Lux made it feel routine."
Product Launch

FMCG brand, Tobacco Dock London, 600 guests

Custom staging designed around the product reveal sequence. LED wall as the full back wall of the stage space. Lighting designed to transition from reception atmosphere through to the reveal moment and press conference. Photography-optimised setup confirmed with the brand's content team two weeks before. Product reveal landed exactly as the creative brief described it.

Product photography from the reveal event used in global campaign materials.
Executive Town Hall

Financial services firm, Canary Wharf HQ, 350 employees

Executive town hall requiring confidence and simplicity. CEO and CFO presentation from a clean presentation set with confidence monitors, full PA coverage across the atrium space, camera feeds for large-format screens, and live stream to Edinburgh and Dublin offices. Technical briefing completed with the CEO's PA two weeks before. No speaker had to think about technology on the day.

Hybrid stream outperformed in-room engagement metrics for the Edinburgh and Dublin offices for the first time.
Brand Activation

Luxury brand, Somerset House, 250 guests

Immersive brand environment using LED wall as primary visual canvas, spatial audio design for the atrium space, lighting rig programmed in collaboration with the brand's creative director. Production advance involved three rounds of creative review with the agency and brand team. On the night, the environment was described by the brand director as "exactly what we were imagining when we wrote the brief".

Event featured in brand coverage across three trade publications.
Why internal events teams work with us

The practical differences that matter when you're the one accountable.

📋
Pre-event documentation, always

Full technical pack issued ten days before every event. Venue rigging requirements, AV spec, crew plan and run of show. No surprises on load-in day for you or the venue.

👫
Own kit, not hired-in

We own our equipment. We know its condition because we maintain it. You're not getting a sub-par screen because the hire house sent what was available. Quality is consistent event to event.

👥
Named TD from brief to load-out

The technical director who answers your brief call is the same person on site. They know your event, they know your concerns, and they know the run of show without having to be reminded.

🗼
One point of contact

Staging, AV, lighting, live stream. One brief, one contact, one invoice. You're not coordinating between three suppliers who've never worked together before and blame each other when something doesn't connect.

💬
Honest programme review

If the run of show has a timing problem, we'll say so before the event, not during it. If a technical element in the brief isn't going to land the way you're expecting, we'll raise it in the advance conversation.

📈
We work with your agency too

Some internal events teams manage production directly. Others work through an agency. We're set up for both. Clear documentation and regular advance calls mean an agency working alongside us is never in the dark.

Common questions from internal events teams

What we get asked before the first call.

We use a roster of suppliers. How do you work alongside other production companies or agencies?+
We work within whatever production structure the client has. If there's an agency managing the full event and they want Lux on technical, we brief directly from the agency, deliver to the agency's production schedule, and handle all venue technical communication. We're not territorial about workflow. We want the event to run well.
Can you handle the live stream as well as the in-room production?+
Yes, and it's far cleaner when it's one team. When the live stream is managed by a separate sub-contractor, you get camera feeds that weren't planned around the in-room lighting setup, stream encoding that's dropping frames because nobody told the live stream team about the venue's internet limitations, and a hybrid audience experience that's been treated as secondary rather than designed. We integrate live streaming from brief stage.
How far in advance do we need to book for a large conference?+
For events over 500 delegates requiring custom staging, we work best with twelve to sixteen weeks. This gives us time to do a proper venue recce, complete the staging design and source any custom fabrication, build the pre-event documentation pack, and do at least two advance calls with the venue. For conferences under 500 delegates with standard staging, eight weeks is manageable. If you have a shorter lead time, call us anyway.
We've had bad experiences with AV companies changing crew on the day of the event. How do you handle this?+
The named technical director who handles the brief and the venue advance call is the TD on site. We don't field a different crew without telling you. If there's a genuine unavailability, we notify you immediately and introduce you to the replacement with a full brief handover. That situation is rare. In most cases, the person who designed the show is the person running it.
Can you work directly with our internal venues team rather than going through our external agency?+
Yes. Many of our corporate clients brief us directly and manage the event internally. We adapt to the structure that works for the client. If there's a corporate procurement process or preferred supplier requirement, let us know at first contact and we'll sort the paperwork in parallel with the production advance so it doesn't slow anything down.
